CTC- 85T Gold strike/flash systems

The 85T Gold strike/flash systems provide fast, brilliant and consistent color flashing along with high-quality gold striking. These solutions have unusual longevity, lasting more than 20 years with replenishing, and come with up to 4 color brighteners, allowing for the creation of lighter or a deeper golden, pinkish, or roseate hues. They are also extremely cost effective, using as little as .5G/L, resulting in a 30% reduction in gold salt usage over competing products. We offer a wide variety of plating systems to produce the result you want.
  • 85T Provides excellent and brilliant Gold Flashing over MicroGold plating and is adjustable between 14 and 24 K with brighteners. Provides excellent cover for weld joints due to its consistency of coverage.
  • 85TL Plates more slowly than 85T and is designed to maximize control when plating over deep color gold or MicroGold alloys.
  • 85TA provides a durable and uniform layer of gold for barrel plating applications.
  • 85TP provides the same consistent carat color and plating attributes as 85T but allows for a wide range of color choice, from pinkish to a deep red, through the addition of our 85TP-P or 85TP-C brighteners.
  • 85TPA is the Barrel-type version of 85TP.

CTC MicroGold systems provide

CTC MicroGold systems provide a uniformly thick and durable coat of consistent gold shade. Our formulations are specially designed to give good equalization of current density over both concave and convex geometries. We offer the following systems:

  • CTC-KN provides a wide variety of color hues and intensity; plates either a consistent 23K shade or from 12K to 23.5K. Provides a hard and solid “gold alloy” look to your pieces. Solutions will last at least 8 years with proper replenishment. Plates from .5 um up to a full 20um.
  • New 23K provides a consistent “high content” brilliant 23 carat gold color. Plates approximately 2um.
  • CTC-23KNSM is a semi-micron plating bath with excellent brightness clarity of color. Thickness ranges from .1 to 1.5 um. Requires only 1 gram of GPC/L, and will plate 1um in just 3 minutes.
G-N 24K Room-Temperature Gold Flash System

CTC is the exclusive manufacturer of room temperature gold flash products. Our G-N solution lays down a thin and highly uniform layer of .44u” of 24K deep yellow gold, without the time and expense of heating your plating solution.
